LE DOMAINE DE FAYENCE residence in Fayence is a high standard private, pedestrianised complex with secure access as well as aspa, small grocery shop (open April-end Sept.), bar and breakfast service, split into two sites: La Bastide des Claux and Les Hameaux de la Calade (high-standard villas, each with a private pool). This complex has been designed and built in the style of a traditional Provencal village, and is located 3km from the centre of Fayence itself.

Practical information

Prices are per accommodation, per week - 7 nights (5/4-3/5 + 5/7-30/8 + 18/10-1/11: Saturday-Saturday)
Short breaks(2 nights min.; can be booked up to 1 month before departure; subject to availability), include bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning (excl. kitchenette)
Not included: security deposit (400 euros/holiday house; 800 euros/villa), local tourist tax, cleaning charges (incurred if accommodation is not left thoroughly cleaned on departure): 55-185 euros. Fireplace/BBQ cleaning if necessary: 15 euros. Mid-stay cleaning available on request (enquire locally)

Fayence is one of the famous traditional hill-top villages of Provence, fortified during the height of the Middle Ages and surrounded by picturesque landscape. Its warm colours, charming alleyways, lively atmosphere and lovely arts and crafts boutiques (potters, sculptors, weavers and painters) make Fayence an idyllic village where to spend a holiday. The resort is also an ideal base to explore the Cote d'Azur and the rest of Provence: 54km from the majestic Verdon canyon and its emerald green waters, just 28km from the fragrant town of Grasse and only 30 minutes from the seaside resorts of Cannes, Mandelieu and St-Raphael.

Other activities

A range of leisure activities are available in Fayence, including watersports on Saint-Cassien lake, one of Europe's most renowned gliding centres, horse riding, mountain biking and walking trails, tennis, boules and a local swimming pool.
