MEIRINGEN is a charming historical village located in the Bernese Oberland valley, 30km from Interlaken, close to the Eiger and the Jungfrau. Meiringen overlooks the stunning Reichenbach Falls made famous by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as the location of the final fight between Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty.
