Perched on the south side of the Sancy Massif mountain range, SUPER BESSE (1350m) is a modern ski resort and situated 8km from the charming medieval old town of Besse-en-Chandesse.

Other activities

As part of the wider MONT-DORE ski area, SUPER BESSE offers access to 85km of slopes served by 42 lifts.

Cross-country skiing

SUPER BESSE offers 250km of trails split between 6 areas within the Massif du Sancy. In BESSE/SUPER BESSE itself, skiers will find 118km of trails shared across 3 areas (2 of which are linked by 20km of higher trails)

Practical information

SUPER BESSE is easily accessible from Clermont-Ferrand train station by shuttle bus (60km). The resort is well-equipped and has all necessary amenities and facilities: doctors, pharmacies, cash machines and shops.
