Located just 25km from Caen and 20km from Deauville, the seaside town of Cabourg has retained all the charms of a traditional Belle Epoque resort, and offers pretty flower gardens, shaded avenues and the famous Marcel Proust promenade which stretches the length of the vast sandy beach. Cabourg is also an excellent base for any visitors hoping to explore the surrounding area, such as the D-Day landing beaches and towns such as Honfleur, which is famous for attracting artists and painters.

Other activities

A variety of activities and facilities are available in Cabourg, including watersports such as sailing, wind-surfing, and sand-yachting, as well as beach clubs suitable for children. The resort also offers swimming pools, squash courts, horse-riding, tennis, go-karting and golf, as well as pedestrianised walking paths and trails.

Practical information

Cabourg is well-equipped and offers a range of modern facilities and amenities, including shuttle buses operating to/from the train station, doctors and pharmacies, nurseries and beach clubs for children, a swimming pool, plus 2 horse-riding centres and sailing club, as well as restaurants serving local specialties. Cabourg's beaches are supervised in season only.
